TE 831 Teaching Subject Matter with Technology
Using creative poetry websites for 6th grade PowerPoints

Course Description: This class featured a lot of hands on, or better yet, "mouses on" work, mainly focusing on free Internet technologies. All of the technology I explored could be easily integrated into the classroom. For each one, I created a potential lesson to go along with it. Throughout the course, I used a wiki, Wordle, Google Blogger, VoiceThread, and Photo Story. Not only did this course give me ideas for using technology in my classroom, but it also gave me the confidence to explore other technologies on my own, and in doing so, I have found other websites that I have used since completing the course.
