Homeroom: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton House, 2011-2012
Thank you for visiting my portfolio created for my Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University. On this site, you will find examples of my coursework and student work samples, my résumé, some background information and fun facts about me, and meaningful essays showcasing my experiences as both a teacher and a student. I hope you also take the time to visit my classroom website, where you will find more examples of my students' work in each grade under "Classroom Information". Lastly, my goal in creating this portfolio is to present the connection between my passions for learning and teaching.
I currently teach middle school English at St. Thomas Aquinas School in East Lansing, MI. In addition to making the writing process more fun and engaging for my 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, I am also the co-leader of our school's Green Club, and we were recently certified as a Michigan Green School.
